Amrita Rao Speaks about Victory and Hurman Baweja

Victory starring Hurman S Baweja and Amrita Rao is yet another attempt by the model-turned-actress to establish herself in Bollywood. Amrita’s body of work is impressive and her career graph shows, she has worked with a number of new directors and actors. Amrita chats with Taran Adarsh ahead of the release of her latest film, Victory.

What attracted Amrita to the film was its story and screenplay. Though it is a male centric film, she insists that her character is strong and she has enough screen space with Hurman.

Taran throws her a tricky question about why people should spend money to watch a film on cricket when cricket is present in every household for free. Amrita counteracts, stating the story of the film is its USP. People would feel good about the small realities of life from this film, she further adds. Amrita reveals her next project would be Shortcut, produced by Anil Kapoor.

Amrita’s sign-off is the cherry on the cake as she laughs off rumors of any link-up between her and Hurman and leaves that for Priyanka Chopra.
